Instructions
On the stove top, bring a pot of water up to a boil. Meanwhile prepare the green beans by cutting either end off.
Boil the green beans for about 8-10 minutes depending how “al dente” or crunchy you like them. Test one and add 2-3 more minutes if needed.
Immediately strain the green beans in a colander and flush with cold tap water, tossing the green beans so they cool down. Set them aside.
This is called “shocking” the green beans and help the green beans to stay a nice bright green color. If you’re not concerned with the color you could skip rinsing them.
In a small mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients and mix until combined.
On the stove top heat a medium saute an on medium-high heat. Add the sauce and bring up to a boil then turn down to a simmer stirring occasionally until the sauce has slightly thickened. The sauce should coat the back of a spoon.
Add the green beans to the pan and toss to coat.
Plate it up and top with sesame seeds. Taste a green bean and add more seasoning if needed.
Enjoy right away or store in the fridge for up to a week.
